How to Meet Our Cats
We love connecting our cats with their future families! We make every effort to keep our database current with each cat’s location and any upcoming adoption events they will attend. However, we encourage you to contact us directly to confirm details. Here’s how it works:
🏪 In Stores:
We partner with local pet stores, and The Cat House, so you can visit some of our cats anytime during normal store hours.
🏠 In Foster Homes::
Most of our cats—especially kittens and seniors—live in loving foster homes. If you’re interested in a specific cat, just call, text, or email us, and we’ll let you know where they are. If the cat is in a foster home, we’ll need at least 24 hours’ notice to arrange a meet-and-greet at our Wheaton shelter.
📅 Adoption Events:
Weekend adoption events are the best time to meet multiple cats in person! Weekday appointments are also available by request.
🐱 A Note About Kittens:
Our tiniest kittens (under 4 months) stay in foster homes for safety and comfort—they’re too little to mingle with the big cats and their playful antics can drive the older kitties crazy! You can meet them at weekend adoption events or by appointment.— they are too little to be in with the big cats, and often drive the big kitties crazy with all their playful antics. Our kittens are brought out on the weekends for our adoption events, or can be seen by appointment.

Since we are an all-volunteer run rescue with cats in foster homes, please be patient; we will return your calls and emails within 48 hours.
