St. Sophia’s Forgotten Felines prides ourselves on being transparent. As part of that, at the end of each rescue year we post our statistics on our intake and outcomes for every cat we care for (the St. Sophia’s rescue/fiscal year is June 1 – May 31). We work hard, and while we’d love to be able to say we have a 100% Save Rate, we’re happy to be in the 90% range each and every year. Our Save Rate is calculated by: intake minus euthanasia divided by intake (this takes into account the cats that came in, the cats that were adopted, and the cats still in our care at the end of each year).
