Temporary Care When Families Need It Most
Crisis Boarding is a short-term safety-net program for families experiencing unexpected emergencies such as:
- Hospitalization or medical crisis
- Domestic or family emergencies
- Temporary housing instability
This program exists to ensure cats remain safe, cared for, and loved while their guardians navigate difficult situations. Our goal is to help keep families together by providing temporary support during life’s hardest moments.
Through our trusted boarding partner, eligible cats are placed in short-term care while their owners address their emergency. Once the crisis has passed, cats are reunited with their families.

Availability is limited and based on current capacity. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement

Important Notes
This program is for temporary emergencies only, we can only provide services for up to 8 weeks, after an 8-week time frame your case will be re-evaluated to see if care can be continued or offer surrender options to our shelter.
- Cats must be able to be safely handled
- Pricing is on a sliding scale; we will work with you to keep your cats safe
- Proof of ownership and vaccination records are required
- Placement depends on availability
